A Theater Menu prior to a fabulous Cabaret Club performanceThe special 3-course menu was in... First we were given delicious bread with butter & olive oil.Then a selection of 3 particularly interesting appetizers. A little culinary adventure ...For the main courses we had a choice of cod or puffer steak.We opted for the meat and oo our request it came fantastically red fried (and still warm inside) with some tasty vegetables and a bowl of French fries.For dessert a delicious chocolate fondant cake.A pleasant surprise was that this evening we met the excellent Nick (formerly at De Werf) and he appears to be in a managerial position here. And - in a positive sense - that was noticeable.Just one small tip. The two tables in a row along the window could have a little more distance (and perhaps staggered) allowing just a little more privacy for the guests.But above all a TOP experience that is definitely worth repeating.Lees meer

The puffer steak was delicious. Perfectly prepared, incredibly tender. The portion made me happy. Just right. Not too much.... That allowed me to finish another dessert. And the pace was nice, not too fast, just right. Not the standard vegetables there 👌🏻Een recommended for a delicious bite to eat in the heart of Venlo.We were lucky to dine outside on the terrace under the red / cream striped umbrellas, because of the warm weather. Also, the snickers dessert was tasty... and surprising.- Food was served quickly.- Neat prices.Less:- We didn't know Venlo, so we made reservations before coming to Venlo, having researched online for a good restaurant. Unfortunately when we got there there was hardly anyone else. We did not expect this since it was Saturday night around 7 p.m..- We had indicated when making the reservation that we were coming to celebrate a birthday. Even though it was "not" her day (some things went wrong with orders etc, also with colleagues), she remained super enthusiastic and friendly and solved it perfectly.
